Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for P&L, strategy development and execution of business in South Africa and few neighbouring countries, for portfolio management and overseeing resource allocation and headcount consequences of business plans.
  • Critical role is business development for this high growth category and understanding the business changes in the market, financial models in private sector and opportunities in the Government sector.
  • Deliver Financial commitments for Biosense Webster which will be Sales, OPEX, CAPEX, SRNI and SGP.
  • Sets the SFE strategy for the business and is accountable for the execution of this plan.
  • Equip and drive a high performing team “to win” through rigorous selection, training, process, incentive schemes and personal development programs.
  • Continuously build and develop the Extended Leadership Team and leadership pipeline with high calibre individuals.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and opinion leaders; and internal and other external stakeholders.
  • Active role within the Leadership Team structure ensuing guidance for total MedTech business success.
Compliance and training:
  • 100% Completion of relevant training procedures referring to departmental training matrix.
  • Demonstrates Credo based leadership principles in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure applicable company/healthcare compliance with all relevant country and EMEA requirements, company regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules and discount rates.
  • Ensures sales results achieve sales quotas, unit volumes, market share and profitability goals in the assigned region.
  • Analyses and controls expenditures of sales department to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains contact with key strategic customers.
